How do I convince my parents to let me go to a concert?

I am a huge Lady Gaga fan and I really want to go to her July 7 MSG concert. NYC is only about an hour and a half away from where I live and I would pay for my ticket (from StubHub). My parents won't let me go, though. I cried about not being able to go. How can I convince my parents to take me? btw i'm 13 years old.

if you make rude comments, i will report you.How do I convince my parents to let me go to a concert?
Ask it as an early birthday/Xmas present (whichever comes first). Say you will do jobs around the house to help pay for their ticket too?

MSG is a nice venue %26amp; really near loads of tourist stuff so maybe convince them it could be a family day out?

(by the way when I was your age my parents wouldn't let me to go see Guns N'Roses - I cried too but I got to see them when I was older. Lady Gaga will be around for a few more years I'm sure so try not to get too upset) :)How do I convince my parents to let me go to a concert?
No sensible parent would let a 13 year old go to a concert in New York City without a responsible guardian.

Why not take them along? It isn't as bad having parents accompany you as most teenagers think. You get to spend quality time with them, and even though it may seem ';unhip';, they (and even you) will appreciate it.

If they are not into Lady Gaga, find someone who is willing to take you, whether it is a cousin, friend's parent, neighbour, etc. But make sure they are at least 18 years old, and that they are responsible enough to do it!

Crying will not accomplish anything because it makes it look as though you lack maturity. The best way to show your parents that you are mature and responsible is to act it! Do your chores (and some extra ones would help too!), take care of your pets, and keep your grades up. If your parents see you are mature, they will be more likely to let you go.

Good luck and I hope that if you get to go that you have fun!
