How to get closer to her?

I have a crush on this girl, she's 3 years younger than me. I tried to talk to her by making jokes on her and I see that she got a bit interested in me, but I don't think she likes me so much. What is the next step I should make? Any advice please....How to get closer to her?
Ask her! If she likes you, most likely she will tell you if you admit your feelings for her! Just be yourself around her, make her laugh, and do NOT flirt or mention other girls around her. You have nothing to loose by asking her out. If she says no at least you know for sure she isn't interested. If she says yes......well, you'll have to wait to see what happens then.
Just be a friend and be sincere. Never assume that it will progress further than friendship either. If it happens it happens but it will always be on her terms.
