How should i tell her?

I recently broke up with a long-time girlfriend. We talked and she wants to get back together. She has gotten the idea that I sort of want to get back together, which is incorrect. I do care about her, but I know a relationship between us won't work out.

How do i let her down without crushing her?How should i tell her?
By treading very carefully. But there is no real easy way of saying it though. Showing softness and sensitivity will help, but also being firm and to the point. Effectively say pretty much what you have said here. She will get over the relationship and find someone more suited to her. Just make it very clearly that you no longer want to be seen as a boyfriendHow should i tell her?
There probably is no way to do this without crushing her. She is obviously still in love with you because she wants to give it one more go.

Do things the way you see appropriate. Let her know that if it's OK, you still wanna be friends. I'm sure you will try your best to let her down easily.
Talk to her about a new girl in your life. Make it VERY CLEAR that you are not interested.

The key to starting a new relationship is ambiguity, so the key to ending an old relationship should be being perfectly candid and ingenuous.
well first just make sure its in person. and dont apologize while doing it. apologizing means you feel bad and you dont want her to thing there is any reason left for you to stay. tell her whats really going on and be straight forward. sorry i cant help more
There is no easy way. However, be careful about sending her mixed signals. You should perhaps ease up on your association with her until she is ready to just be friends.
Tell her that you just dont feel the same way she does.

Theres no future for the two of you %26amp; she'll find someone in no time.
Just tell her you no longer like her in that why.
Just grow some balls and be honest with her
Just tell her straight up, dont lead her on.
just tell her how u feel
